Well, after all my initial excitement about the paint it still isn't quite ready. The bloke that does the final blocking and prepping burnt his hand last week and wasn't able to finish. Thankfully he wasn't hurt too bad and should have it ready by the end of the week or early next. So here's a couple more photo's of the prep work. Not long now.

I swear I'm dying here. Everytime I think it's going in for paint something crops up. Painters not available, been held up on other jobs, booths not available, 2 cars ahead of mine etc etc. :icon_eyes: Hopefully not too far away and you'll all see some paint.:edgy:

Black goes on the bonnet and tail probably next week sometime. A week or so after that the vinyl top and stripes go on. Then home sweet home she comes. :VB toast:

Even though I wanted it back to original I gotta be honest and say I wasn't too sure about the colour. Now that I've seen it on the car I absolutely love it. No second thoughts now.

My 70 has been repainted in lemon twist. Normally I'm not a big fan of yellow but I like it on the 70 body style but when I saw yours I'm thinking maybe I should go back with the original green. Since it's going to be media blasted I can paint it any color. Kind of hate to change colors with a matching # car.
