No fuel to carb

So i took my front bowl off my carb and the float seemed free and the needle moved free sprayed with carb cleaner and put back on. I poured gas into the front bowl. Car ran ok until the gas in the carb ran out and then it wouldn't start again. There is gas getting to the carb just not in it

Then it would be dirt or crud from where the fuel line goes into the carb, to the needle and seat. Dirt, rust ect. can collect on the back side of the needle's seat, blocking the flow of fuel into the carb bowl. Or the small hole in the seat, where the needle makes contact is blocked.
Remove fuel line, remove bowl, remove float with the needle and see if you can spray carb cleaner or air through the seat. If not remove the seat and repeat.

I sprayed carb cleaner through the little holes around the needle and all through it

On some of the few Holleys I messed with, at the fuel line fitting that goes into the carb, might be a filter/screen. Pull the fitting, and see if it's clogged. If so, just needs to be cleaned.

There is no filter/screen that I can tell
