Texaco tractor-trailers, 2 of em (Tonka type), Hot Wheels, AFX slot cars with Richard Petty's Wing car & his Charger: softball in field behind house: bought pieces of couch foam, cut em, covered with cloth, mom stitched pockets on front for pieces of rug, STREET HOCKEY goalie pads ala Bernie Parent!! Used baseball glove, motorcyle glove with wrist/forearm protector as blocker, mom/dad bought me small net and a street hockey stick for Christmas. With green Army men, & the paratrooper you threw up into the sky.....

We used to tie strings to the army men with carefully cut and folded bread bags, to launch them into paratroopers..... Pops, were we poor lol??

Maico?? cant see pic good.

My '80 Honda Elsinore 250 looked very similar, anodized rims, many magnesium parts, Fox Airs, etc. I see that one has piggybacks (FoxShoxx), not Fox Airs.

Not me in the pic but I couldn't find a better one.
Rambo big wheel. I was like 3 or 4 when I had it and the headband, my uncle lived with us and looked like Rambo, whish I still had it along with my mini bike and mini 3 wheeler.

oh yeah.....street hockey was HUGE in these parts!

We used to eat lunch under the XB-70 when it was stored outside.

Walked the 5 blocks (plus the whole length of the museum property) from my house several times every summer from about 1980 until about 1984.

Bought refined versions of those balsa airplanes sandwiched with foam from the gift shop.
