Nice job. Tucks in there nice and tight.
Just curious but why bead locks? Ease of tire change, or were you spinning the old ones. They always kinda confuse me. Some guys run wicked quick without em, then I see 10sec cars with em. I know traditionally used with the 10.5" stuff but usually on 14-16" wheels. Just curious, and I fricken love em.
Good luck
Well she's home safe and sound and next is painting the cage and putting everything back together. The new Hemi should be ready next week so I can get everything installed.
Any predictions on what she'll run ??
Anyone know how much front steel fenders weigh on a 65 Belvedere?
I'm picking up a set of fiberglass fenders for the project now.
not sure about a 65 Plymouth, Stock Steel or Fiberglass fender weights
but VFN's site lists the 64's Dodge Polara fiberglass fenders @ 9#'s shipping weight,
IIRC when I was looking, it was probably about 15#'s lighter each, than the steel stock ones,
was about the same difference on my old 68 RR too
I'd guess about 25#'s per steel fender ?????
I know not much help
whose brand of fiberglass fenders are you going to ?
Don't laugh!!!!!
SLED CITY but I'm getting them new through a friend of mine who bought them but never mounted or painted them. Plus 1/3 of the price
ILMFAO actually,
when I 1st saw sled-city I was think immediately,
I hope he got them from someone who already went thru all the BS
or long wait, bad customer service, no return calls etc.,
I've recently read about just to get them already,
Unfortunately
seen allot of "allegedly" negative crap posted about them, over the last couple years,
never used any of the stuff myself, hope all goes well...
I saw them listed on sled-city's site for like $365 ea. IIRC
1/3rd the price can't hardly argue with that deal either
Disclaimer;
sorry sled-city no offence,
a bad rap or bad customer service/relations, is really hard too shake & spreads like wildfire
You stole my line!
