What did you do today....other than work on your car!?

Should've known/remembered. Couple of years Costco was selling bone in pork chops, wife buys boneless most of the time. She bought bone in this time. I looked and thought these are fatter than most I've seen. She has tendency to over cook meat but not this time. They great like when I was a kid before they started breeding pigs with less fat. After a couple months back to the lean chops.

All it takes is a good meat guy to jog the memory :D

Painted some Zinsser Stain Block primer on some door frames and doors today. Hellishly hot outside, so painting them in the garage. Still needed a few cool-down beers while painting. Ready for primer coats tomorrow. :):xscuseless:

I use 4" retaining wall screws top & bottom for legs to space off so I can paint without damaging what I just did. It works well for me.

Spent yesterday at the range, plinking.

18 rounds with a 71 year old revolver (7 yards)

And 13 rounds from my hellcat, same 7 yards, 5 sec mag dump:

We burned through about 200 rounds. Much fun.

I dusted off the ‘68 Schwinn Lemon Peeler. A couple of pix from earlier in the year on a cruise.

Still here, one more forkin day of sanding and hopefully I can prime. Even blended out the "pros" shitty job on the stair wall. I have no fingerprints left and keep bleeding on my work, but I might be good at body work blocking by the time I'm done.. ffs...

Cable came off of unit #5 garage door yesterday.
Thought it was gonna be another 4 hour fight like #6 last week, but turned out it just needed some tension relieved and put back on the spool.

Whew.

Your just flaunting your wealth by shooting that much ammunition lol.
Even steel shot for duck hunting had gotten out of hand
Nah...lol. I carry (legally) daily. If I'm going to be armed in public, its my responsibility to stay sharp.

And, it's fun.

9mm has come down...some. Sunday was not-quite-the-last of my pre-bullshit (pre-covid) brass case, .14/rd. For the last year or so I've been stocking up on steel case at about .30/rd. Nowadays, I can get brass right around .28/rd. Need to order 1k this weekend to restock, in case I'm at a brass-only range...but my go-to range allows steel, so that's cool. I've got a good stock of that.
