Where did you and your car go today

I woke up yesterday morning, and took the 71 Charger R/T for a nice morning cruise. Then I freed up the brakes on the little red express truck and drove it around the yard a few times. Then I took my 71 Challenger convertible out for a nice afternoon ride. I drove three Mopars in one day! Winning!
Use them or lose them, good for you!!!

I was just thinking this morning; I am 77 years old, and yesterday I was doing burnouts with like-minded friends. When my Dad was 77, he passed away.

I'm sorry for the loss of your father, but don’t go there. You're not done yet!!

I drove my 68 Barracuda fastback 45 miles to pick up 4 5x4.5 15x6.5” steel wheels 3 of which had truck tires mounted ( $10 each couldn’t pass ) then drove over to tire store to have tires taken off . I own 2 trucks but love to drive the Mopars … it’s my car-truck ..lol
Actually I drive it everywhere.
An every other day driver . Probably put 25k on it in last 3-4 years . My 408 W2 4sp Dart Swinger doesn’t get daily action now but once I sort out all the gremlins it will get driven more casually …almost there .
I drove my 73 Dart Sport 340 4sp from Boise to Minnesota and raced a muscle car shoot out (ran 12.9s ) and back home in the 90s
My 70 Charger was my “summer” daily driver from 1981-2016 when I sold it . Mstake…
I sold high end cars ( BMW, Porsche , Mercedes , Rovers etc.. ) for 25 years but just liked driving muscle cars more .
My Mopars draw way more attention than a Porsche Turbo , G63s , Jag F types , BMW Ms … the new NSX did draw a lot of looks .

Quick trip to the beach to walk the dog. Still breaking in the TKX, certainly more of a workout driving the car now...

I had a friend that had a dealership and his big attention was a 71 challenger in the show room. Great story, thanks for sharing!!

Yesterday the sun came out after a fourteen day hiatus. Went out to find some :thumbsup:s. I received just one when going down the main drag.

The weather has been very humid and I wanted to get her up to operating temp and take it around town to dry out any moisture that might have accumulated.

It's been a tough year for car shows, seems to either rain or someone makes other plans for me.

There's a lot to love about your car. The one that I get a kick out of the most is, the look of sleeper. She gets it done! I like it.!

Big thanks to The Horspeower Genie for putting a car cruise together.
We made it to the Amelia Earheart museum in Atchison, KS

I went to my friends yearly Moparty. I brought my 71 Challenger convertible. There was a sick 8 second Hemi powered Duster there! There was a sign when you came in that read mandatory burnout, and my Challenger convertible showed them it can still light em up! But the blue modern Challenger one the burnout award!
