Where did you and your car go today

I think most of them buy these 50+ year old cars, and drive them and think they drive terrible. If they would just rebuild the front suspension, add a sway bar if it doesn't have, good shocks, good steering box. They would realize these cars drive pretty nice
Oh definitely, they hop into a car with ball joints shot, tie rods shot, everything worn out, and then the clowns say well time to broke out the crappy mustang 2 suspension. I think it’s the tv shows that have ruined these people, not the good shows with real people, but the stupid ones that are half hour commercials with dudes wearing make up that don’t get their hands dirty

I love reading people complain about how b bodies drive, have these people even driven one? My car isn’t anything special, bilstien shocks and solid tie rod ends, steer and gear stage 2 steering box in the front. +2” leafs and air shocks in the back. I was cruising at 80-90, then coming into town there’s a nice up hil, down hill, left, right sweep, I was rolling through that closer to 100. Then I was bombing side streets. All of this is effortless and smooth, one handed driving. That’s why it’s always a great time when I’m out in the car. It doesn’t matter if I’m gently cruising, or tearing up the streets, it’s soo smooth and effortless

I've had a few cars that were built to handle like it was on rails and one was a 240Z. Your car's a legend and not everyone will ever get a chance to ride in one, little less own one! They do just fine and it's an honor to own one. The neighbor gal has been on me about a ride in mine. After I was done drying the car off after a bath today, I took her out and within a few miles she was lost in the moment. She said the one thing she noticed was that almost everyone had to sneak a peek at us. It's a lifestyle, and it's ours. You know what I like to say, be proud!!

Setup properly, a 66-70 B with just a front bar can handle like a giant go-cart.

What's not to love about that?

Did you know: When you drive a Datsun and get lost, follow the rust trail home.

Saturday I drive the car to Benson AZ. About an hour drive.

Hit a small show with maybe 50.60 cars.

But some very nice cars .

I drove them when they were new, when they were old, and at this point, fully restored. With the unibody construction and torsion bar suspension, they handled better than anything else in their era. In 1968, Consumer Reports did a road test on a Charger R/T, and commented to that effect. With new, stock components, they are still hard to beat.

I drove quite a few of all makes in the mid 1980's

Even at the 20 year mark, pre-1973 Mopars were noticeable less squishy and roll-y than the other two big three brands.

Waxed it today and then went for a cruise.

Short 48 mile trip to Coldwater and back for fries, onion rings and beer today. Both cars ran flawless after their 4 month rest.

5 hour round trip to my daughters house. The little guy pouted when we took him out of the Satellite.

What a day, I envy you, thanks for sharing!!

We went to the second to last car show of the season. It was a nice clear day, but cold and windy.
