Carlisle Chrysler Nationals 2024 Tent Activities

"Hurricane Camille was a Category 5 storm that hit the Mississippi-Louisiana Gulf Coast on August 17, 19691234. It was the most intense storm of the 1969 Atlantic hurricane season5. The storm had sustained winds of 190 mph and storm tides of more than 24 feet. It caused unprecedented physical destruction and flash floods and landslides in Virginia's Blue Ridge Mountains1." Wili

Hurricane Camile is what gave the 1969 Woodstock Music Fest its legendary Mud Bath, "stay away from the towers" saga.
This current Texas hurricane leftovers might dump on the early days of Carlise. Of course there is no certainty, but might be best to pack a rain coat.

Just got back from Carlisle, checking out my new spots.
Our tent is right next to another tent, Looks like Long Island Mopars.
About 2/3 the size of ours.

This is the 1st year I am taking a car. Do most of you drive in and out daily, or leave your car at the Event Field? Is it true you can't drive a showcar in or out between 9 and 3 on event days?

Most drive in and out daily. You can drive your showcar into the grounds anytime you like when the gates are open.

Also - the staff and atmosphere are organized, but loose. Someone will tell you where to go.

That is 100% true....no traffic with anything with wheels between 9-3

No traffic between 9-3. They will confiscate your ride.

You have time to find a substitute co pilot! Get on it!
His truck, his trailer, his car. I agreed to go along so he wouldn’t have to do the 20 hours of windshield time each way by himself. No doubt he will make the trip next year and I will tag along…

Heading up in a few days. Spots M9-11. Couple of cool items - complete 69 Air grabber with some spare parts. 69 Grill and bezels, NOS 68-69 Plymouth exhaust tips, etc. Stop by to hoist a beverage!

Looks like they roll the dice to figure it out. 1= sunny, 6 = thunder storms.

Folks, I am a new member and I have my hotel booked. This is my first time out there.

Where is the best place to park my truck? Is parking easy or difficult?

Thanks
