I bought a Honda....

Look what I started, we're or I got this thread off topic, sorry to Ryguytoodry......... I didn't intend to hi-jack your thread, I was just razzing/needling you about owning a Honda.... It's about his newly purchased little commuter 97 Honda Civic VTech, it's not about my or our Automotive Industry, likes or dislikes, US vs Foriegn... But it is after all a Mopar/specifically a B-Body Mopar forum, not a Honda or Ford etc. forum... If you post a thread about something other than a B-Body here {that's why we are all here} or even a thread other than Mopar in general, they always seem to get off topic like this, we are here for B-Body stuff... I have noticed allot more of these types of Non-Mopar threads here lately... OK lets get back to the subject at hand...his 97 Honda Civic

Agreed and sorry to Ryguy also..

Pics? Mods? Still waiting...106 is boogyin' in a go cart if that slip is for that car.

Good commuters, my 03 V6 Accord coupe was arguably the best DD I've ever owned, relatively quick and nimble, and great mpg/power...got beat to death in a hail storm or else I'd probably still have it. Never understood hot rodding FWD, but to each their own, and seems like he got a good deal...

'97 Civic Si, power everything, sunroof.

The Boring Stuff:
Sony double-din deck with gps.
Lowering springs (I think...) car is about 1" lower than a stock civic.
Civic si-r front bumper is si-r fog lights.

The fun stuff:
B18c1 japanese spec (integra gsr engine)
Integra type r cams
Headers
Ported throttle body
Air box removed, ram air intake
Power steering removed
Oem honda half rad
Civic si-r tranny with an lsd (short gears)
Chipped ecu with 9000rpm redline.

Don't worry about it getting off topic guys haha. I was expecting it by throwing a honda up here.

The car has a blue hood with it right now, the guy selling the car had a carbon fiber hood on the car that he wanted an extra $500 for and that is what he had sitting around... I'm going to pick up some 450hp rated axles this week for it, and send the car in to get tuned and a new exhaust on it. Maybe take it to the track next weekend.

I went to the Pick-n-Pull with my Honda Fanboy bud yesterday cuz he wanted some stuff for his Civic....he would like it to be as speedy as RyGuy's someday. They're apparently popular enough that they don't end up in junkyards until they get hit by a train and bent in half cuz there just wasn't much pickins for him. Tough day. On a side note: I found two perfect rust-free doors and an almost-perfect grille surround for my 73 sooo.....yay.

BTW, the only brand still 100% manufactured in the USA anymore is Jeep.
