Hey everyone,
Thanks for the good info and advice.
Just wanted to do a quick update.
So,
I ran a Vehicle History Report, And was immediately met with what I dreaded most:
"Junk/Salvage - HITS FOUND"
Under the Junk and Salvage History, It shows it was sold and reported on 12/17/2013 (I didn't ask about purchasing it until the 18th).
It doesn't say why it was "Sold" as Junk/Salvage. But Shows where it was sold, And who sold it in fair detail. Under the Junk/Salvage area on the Report.
3 Things:
Seller assured me it would get a clean unbranded title (Lied apparently).
I bought it on 12/19/2013 and Got the Clean Title on 01/02/2013, As well as clean history reports through then.
I WAS STATE ISSUED A CLEAN TITLE, REGISTRATION, TABS, PLATES.
Honestly, If I had been warned and known all along during the buying process that the title would be salvage, I wouldn't be fighting anything.
However,
They (THE STATE) game me everything, And took it away!
I still don't see how the state could do that to Me. Regardless of THEIR mistake (They admitted to making a mistake through e-mail). It seems really REALLY shady...
And to rub salt in my wounds, The NMVTIS History Report has a GIANT red warning that the car has a Salvage History...
So,
Obviously it's been done already. The car is Salvage Branded. BS!
